Privacy policy
How Senni Ltd collects and uses personal data when you visit senni.io, get in touch with us or use a Senni account. Last updated 7 October 2026.
Who we are
Senni Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17354088, and our registered office is 46 Parkinson Drive, Chelmsford, England, CM1 3GH.
For anything about your personal data, email [email protected] or write to us at our registered office.
What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data about visitors to senni.io, people who contact us, business contacts at customers, prospects and suppliers, people who hold an account on app.senni.io, and people who contact us about working at Senni.
It does not cover the data our customers send through Senni when they use it to govern their own AI services. For that data, the customer is the controller and we process it only on their instructions, under our agreement with them. If your personal data is in a customer’s workflows, please contact that organisation.
The personal data we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, work email, organisation, job title and the content of your messages, for example when you request a demo, email us or join a call.
- Account information. If your organisation gives you access to app.senni.io, your name, work email, organisation and role, plus records of when you sign in and what you do in the account.
- Careers information. Your CV and anything else you choose to send us.
- Website analytics. When you load a page, our own server records the page, the website you came from (the site’s name only), any campaign tags in the link, whether your device is a computer, phone or tablet, and a visitor code. The visitor code is a one-way scramble of your IP address and browser details that changes every day, so we cannot tell who you are or follow you from one day to the next. We store no cookies, IP addresses or browser details for this, and we do not record visitors whose browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
- Technical data. Our website host receives your IP address and browser details when your browser requests pages and files, as any website does. When you send the contact form, we also keep a daily one-way scramble of your IP address with your message, to limit spam and abuse.
We do not ask for special category data, such as health information, and we ask you not to send it to us.
How we use it and our lawful basis
UK data protection law requires a lawful basis for each use of personal data. Here are ours.
| What we do | Personal data | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to enquiries and demo requests | Name, work email, organisation, job title, what you tell us and the page you sent the form from | Legitimate interests: responding to people who contact us about Senni |
| Prepare, sign and manage contracts with customers and suppliers | Business contact details of the people we deal with | Contract, or legitimate interests where you act for your employer |
| Run customer accounts on app.senni.io | Name, work email, organisation, role, sign-in and activity records | Contract with your organisation, and legitimate interests in keeping the service secure |
| Send occasional updates about Senni to business contacts | Name, work email and organisation | Legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time |
| Consider people who contact us about careers | Your CV and anything else you choose to send | Legitimate interests in recruiting, and steps taken at your request before a contract |
| Measure how the website is used | Pages visited, referring website, campaign tags, device type and a daily visitor code | Legitimate interests in understanding which pages help people, using no cookies and no data that identifies you |
| Keep the website and our systems secure, and meet legal obligations | Technical data such as IP address and request logs, and records we must keep by law | Legitimate interests and legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights and expectations. You can ask us for more detail about that assessment.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies, and it does not store anything else on your device. We use no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services, so there is no cookie banner to answer.
We count visits on our own server, as described under website analytics above. Because the visitor code changes every day and is not stored in a form that can be reversed, the counts cannot be tied to you. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not count your visit at all.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run services for us, such as email and document storage, website hosting and cloud infrastructure, including Google Cloud, which hosts senni.io and app.senni.io. They act on our instructions and must protect your data.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, where we need their advice.
- Authorities, regulators and courts, where the law requires it or to protect our rights.
- A buyer or investor, if we sell, merge or restructure all or part of our business, under suitable confidentiality terms.
International transfers
Some of our service providers, including Google, may process personal data outside the UK, including in the United States. When that happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations, including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to protect it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and business contacts: up to two years after our last contact, unless we enter into a contract. The daily scramble of your IP address kept with a contact form message is deleted with the message.
- Customer and contract records: for the life of the contract and six years after it ends, to meet legal and tax obligations and deal with claims.
- Account records on app.senni.io: for as long as the account is active, then as set out in our agreement with your organisation.
- Careers information: up to twelve months after you contact us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Analytics data: deleted automatically after fourteen months.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, or its use restricted, in some circumstances;
- object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests, and to stop marketing at any time;
- receive data you gave us in a portable format, where we rely on consent or contract;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it. This does not affect what happened before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month and will not charge you in most cases. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption in transit and limiting access to people who need it. No system is completely secure, so if you think your data with us has been put at risk, please tell us straight away.
Children
Senni is a service for businesses. Our website and services are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the way we use personal data changes, and change the date at the top of the page. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell you directly where we can.
